Operatives of National Security have arrested twelve (12) Chinese nationals and a Ghanaian in connection with the missing ECG containers at the Tema Port.
The suspects were arrested on Thursday during an intelligence-led operation.
According to authorities, these suspects are linked to two aluminium smelting companies located in Shai Hills.

Some of the items, including cables that were part of the consignment, were traced to an aluminium smelter owned by the Chinese, situated opposite the Shai Hills Game Reserve.
The cables were reportedly being melted into aluminium bars for export.
Meanwhile, authorities have launched a manhunt for another Chinese national who is currently on the run.
