The Ghana Police Service and the Immigration Service are perceived as the most corrupt institutions in the country, the first National Tracking Poll of 2025 released by Global InfoAnalytics has said.
The poll by the research firm assessed public perception of corruption across various sectors.
The Ghana Police Service took the top spot with a score of 6.43, followed by the Immigration Service at 5.86.
With a score of 5.78, the judiciary came third, followed by tax officials of the Ghana Revenue Authority (5.68), local government representatives (5.63), and business executives (5.63).
The others are the Electoral Commission (5.58), traditional leaders (5.51), and Parliament (5.47), which were perceived as moderately corrupt.
The Prison Service (5.43), Military (5.27), and Presidency (5.27) scored lower.
Ministers and government officials received the lowest score of 4.61.
