A 25-year-old man, identified as Richmond Owusu Kankam, has been found at Ahwiaa, a suburb of the Kwabre East Municipality in the Ashanti region.
The family of the deceased suspects their relative was murdered and wants the police to investigate and bring the offenders to book.
The mother, Nana Yaa, in an interview with the media, alleged that his son was murdered and demanded justice.
She said the young man left home for work but did not return home and had been declared missing three days only to be found lifeless.
Nana Yaw also alleged that while the son was alive, he told her that some friends of his were having personal grudges with him and suspects they may have had a hand in the son’s death.
The body of Richmond Owusu Kankam, who sold Shawarma, was found dead in front of the Roman School.
He had a swollen face with blood oozing from some parts of his body.
The Police have since retrieved the body and deposited it at the mortuary, awaiting autopsy and investigation.
