The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has refuted claims that the power outages in the Ashanti region are due to multiple cable faults.
The power distributor attributed the faults to issues at the Ridge Bulk Supply Point in Kumasi, near Georgia Hotel.
The ECG assured affected customers that its engineers are working diligently to rectify the fault and restore supply to the affected areas.
The company expressed deep regret for any inconvenience caused by the outages.
