Former Director of Communications at the presidency under the late Professor John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills has reacted to the suspension of Chief Justice Esaaba Torkornor.

Mr Koku Anyidoho, in a series of tweets, recounted how his late boss handled a similar situation involving former Chief Justice Theodora Wood.

Although he is not prepared to disclose the discussion he held with the late Atta Mills regarding several requests made on him to remove Theodora Wood from office, Mr Anyidoho said he remembered exactly what he was told.

He said there was enormous pressure on Atta Mills to sack the Chief Justice, but he refused.

According to the author, international election observer and cleric, the ongoing process to remove Madam Torkornoo is a test case for our democracy.
