Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has described the publication on the removal of Kwame Asare Obeng, aka A-Plus, from the Majority Caucus on WhatsApp as false and misleading.
The statement issued by the leader said the Gomoa Central MP still remains a member of the Majority Caucus.
He also disclosed that the MP is still on the official Majority WhatsApp platform.
He has therefore urged the Ghanaian public to disregard the report in its entirety and treat it with the contempt it deserves.
“The leadership of the Majority Caucus remains united and focused on its responsibilities in Parliament.
We also call on GhanaWeb to retract the publication and issue an appropriate correction to prevent further misinformation,” it added.
