Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has petitioned Inspector General of Police Christian Tetteh Yohuno to initiate disciplinary action against Constable Forson, whom he accuses of assaulting him during the ‘Save the Judiciary Demo’.
The MP in his petition to the IGP said he wants appropriate action to be taken against the tall and heavily built officer who was stationed at the entrance of Parliament House on the day of the demonstration.
He is alleging that Constable Forson assaulted him at the entrance of Parliament House during the demonstration.
”To address this incident and to correct the misleading narrative circulating in the public domain, I have issued a public statement detailing the events as they occurred.’’
