The Accra High Court has sentenced Deborah Seyram Adablah, a former NSS person, to 45 days in jail after finding her guilty of contempt.
The lady in question has sued her alleged ‘sugar daddy’, former First Atlantic Bank executive Ernest Kwesi Nimako, for breach of promise.
Adablah was cited for contempt following her recent social media outbursts against the judiciary.
She sued Ernest Kwesi Nimako in 2023 for breach of promise.
Details are available that she defied a court order and made disparaging remarks about the presiding judge, Justice John Bosco Nabarese.
She accused him of bias and unprofessional conduct.
Adablah openly criticised the court’s handling of her case, questioning the integrity of Ghana’s judiciary and warning the judge to be fair in his rulings.
The comments were played in court, and a bench warrant was issued for her arrest.
After that, she went back to TikTok to express her displeasure over the issuance of the bench warrant but said she was going to make herself available before the court since she had no interest in running away from the country.
