President John Dramani Mahama has extended a happy Mother’s Day message to Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
The President in a Facebook post revealed that he has visited the Vice President, who is currently rearing after recovering from her illness.
According to him, Ghana’s first female vice president is looking forward to resuming her duties after being away on sick leave.
His Facebook message read “A special Mother’s Day greeting to my Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, whom I had the pleasure of visiting earlier this morning.
She is taking a deserved rest after recovering from illness and looking forward to resuming her duties soon.
To her and all Ghanaian mothers, I say Happy Mother’s Day.”
