The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has received custody of a notorious lone robber, Adinda Akpo Abdul Mugibo, who had been evading capture since 2022, following his arrest by the Togolese Police Force (TPF).
The suspect, known for targeting elite residential areas in Accra and robbing individuals, had his activities captured on CCTV.
He has been identified as Adinda Akpo Abdul Mugibo, but he also has multiple other names, such as Rashid Bawa, Maxwell, Papa Rich, or Dawa.
The suspect holds both Ghanaian and Togolese identification.
He was arrested by a joint operation of the TPF, Interpol, and officers of the GPS in Lome, Togo.
