The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is set to collaborate with the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to restore power supply in areas hit by the downpour which caused flooding in some areas.
A statement issued by ECG said NADMO requested that some areas be isolated due to the flooding.
The affected areas are Borteyman, Stadium, Affordable Housing, Borteyman Township, Little Roses, Lakeside, Nanakrom, Kissieman, Dome Pillar 2, Christian Village, School Junction, School Junction Melcom, Nmaidzor Zoomlion, University Farms, Trassaco 3rd Gate, Legon Hill, Santoe, Blue Kiosk, Adenta ECG Office, and Madina Islamic University.
The company maintained that it is collaborating NADMO team for their directives before power supply is restored.
It admonished residents in communities with localised outages, incidents of fallen poles, or sagging conductors to report such cases to the ECG Call Centre on 0302-611611, the nearest ECG office, or reach them on their social media handles via @ECGghOfficial on Facebook, X or Instagram for prompt attention.
