The Member of Parliament for Offinso North Constituency has begun a monitoring visit to all Senior High-level institutions in the area.
The visit, which started yesterday, is part of his ongoing efforts to support and improve education in the constituency.
Three schools were visited on the first day — Wiafe Akenten Presby Senior High School in Afrancho and both the Applied Technology Institute and Akumadan Senior High School in Akumadan.
Speaking during the visit, the MP emphasised the purpose of the initiative: to gain firsthand insight into the current state of schools, assess the learning environment, and understand both the challenges and the successes within the education sector.

He held fruitful discussions with school management, teachers, non-teaching staff, and students — touching on key issues such as academic performance, infrastructure needs, and student welfare.
The MP commended the dedication of the teachers and the determination of students to excel in their studies despite the challenges they face.
He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting all schools in Offinso North and pledged to work closely with the District Assembly, the Ghana Education Service, and other stakeholders to address pressing concerns and enhance the quality of education in the constituency.
