The Code Raccoon’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jörn Halsinger, gave a presentation on a new digital education platform he wants to develop locally for Ghana’s educational system.

The goal of the platform is to improve teaching and learning across the country, he stated.

According to Mr Jörn Halsinger, the platform was created to help close digital gaps in Ghana’s education system, adding that the platform will offer interactive, curriculum-aligned e-learning content that students and teachers can access nationwide.

The Code Raccoon’s Chief Executive Officer also noted that more stakeholders are showing interest in the project. This growing support is a positive sign for the platform’s future.

Mr. Halsinger disclosed that Code Raccoon is ready to work closely with the government and development partners, adding that his company aims to integrate the platform into national education programmes.

Dr Clement Apaak, on his part, commended the Code Raccoon’s Chief Executive Officer for the initiative and added that the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, attaches a lot of importance to digitised education.

He emphasised the importance of innovative ideas like this in ensuring that all students, especially those in underserved areas, receive quality education.

German Ambassador Daniel Krull also showed support for the project and praised Code Raccoon’s work as a good fit with Ghana’s digital plans.

He said the platform could help build stronger ties between Germany and Ghana in both education and technology.

Ambassador Krull added that this partnership shows a shared commitment to using digital solutions for sustainable development.
