Deputy Education Minister and Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr Clement Apaak, has extended well wishes to Muslims on the celebration of Eid-Al-Adha.
The lawmaker and deputy minister in a brief message wished Ghanaian Muslims and their loved ones well.
He was hopeful the celebration will bring them joy, harmony and countless blessings.
The message read, ’Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Eid Mubarak filled with joy, harmony and countless blessings”.

The celebration is also known as Bakrid Eid, or the Islamic Feast of Sacrifice.
Muslims all over the world celebrate the festival in memory and honour of the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to obey Allah’s command to sacrifice his son.
It is also celebrated to commemorate the end of the pilgrimage, which is a religious requirement.
Muslims who are financially secure are required to perform the Hajj at least once in their lifetime.
