Appearing on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, the MP disclosed that ‘’this is a top secret. Do you know the number of former appointees frequenting the NIB every day? Some former appointees nicodemously go to the NIB. Some of them have agreed to pay back what they have been accused of taking.

The lawmaker stated that corruption under the NPP was unprecedented, and that the government will take action against all who robbed the state.

”We were in this country when the All-African Games accreditation costs were estimated at $4.8 million. Were you not in this country when the feeding cost was reported to be $12.7 million? I’m not sure if the food prepared for the games was intended to feed all of Africa,” he said.

Owenn Kwame Frimpong added that the NPP lost the elections miserably because it failed to account to the people and engaged in opulence at the expense of the taxpayer.

He assured Ghanaians that the current government would not be as reckless as the NPP, stating, “The government will be accountable to the people.” We will not act as recklessly as the NPP did. We will not steal from the state, but will remain committed to carrying out our mandate.

He also referenced the National Cathedral project as one of the issues that cost the NPP the elections, saying, The project site has now been tagged as the most expensive hole in the world.
