The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that it is prepared to pay temporary staff.
Chairperson of the Commission, Mrs Jean Mensah, in a statement, disclosed that the Finance Ministry has released funds for them to be paid.
The funds, the statement said, were released on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
According to her, the EC is working around the clock to ensure that payments are made promptly to all temporary staff.She added rage: all temporary staff should expect to receive their payments by Friday, June 20, 2025.
“I bring you greetings from the Electoral Commission and trust that this letter finds you well.
We are pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Finance has today, Thursday, 12th of June, 2025 released funds for the payment of Temporary Staff.
The Commission is working round the clock to ensure that payments are made promptly.
Temporary Staff should expect to receive their allowances on or before Friday, 20th June, 2025,” the statement said.
