The Accra Regional Police Command has arrested a suspect who was seen in a viral video threatening to shoot any police officer he might encounter.
The suspect has been identified as Israel Agbo Forson, a 32-year-old filmmaker residing in North Legon.

He was recently seen in a viral video making threats to shoot any officer who attempts to search his car.
A police statement disclosed that the suspect was arrested on Monday, June 23, 2025, through an intelligence-led operation.

He is currently on police enquiry bail and is assisting with ongoing investigations.

Meanwhile, the Service has cautioned the public against obstructing justice, inciting violence, and making threats against law enforcement officers.
“The Ghana Police Service once again condemns in the strongest terms acts of incitement, threats, and obstruction against law enforcement officers. Such conduct is not only unlawful but also undermines public peace and the authority of the Police.”
