The Impact Makers Coalition has extended its deepest commendation to Afetsi Awoonor for his extraordinary and impactful philanthropic work.
In a statement issued under the signature of Project Coordinator Cephas Nii Okine, the Coalition commended Afetsi Awoonor, stating that his philanthropic activities have significantly benefited and impacted the lives of those in need and the deprived.
The organization recollected how, for several years and through the establishment of the Afetsi Awoonor Foundation—an organization dedicated to developing Ghana’s human resource potential—Afetsi Awoonor has touched many lives, especially those in deprived communities.
“Your unwavering dedication to improving the lives of nursing mothers and the deprived in society exemplifies the true spirit of generosity and community stewardship,” the statement read. “As an organization, we have recognized your achievements and impacts through our funding.”
The statement from Impact Makers Coalition recounted some of the Foundation’s remarkable achievements and donations:
“An example is the support you extended to the people of Agavadzi, a coastal community in the Ketu-South Municipality who were affected by the tidal waves. Another example was your donation to nursing mothers and newborns at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.”
“These donations and many others are indeed part of the mission of your Foundation, the Afetsi Awoonor Foundation, to spread love and compassion,” Impact Makers Coalition stated.
The Impact Makers Coalition underscored the need for other individuals and organizations to learn from Afetsi Awoonor’s example to make society a better place, especially for those in need.
“You have indeed lived by the core values of the organization you founded, which is to create a stable and cohesive society through self-sufficient individuals. Indeed, you have set out to ensure that the average Ghanaian is economically self-sufficient and capable of participating in the development of Ghana and the continent.”
“We are deeply inspired by your dedication to making a positive difference in the world. Your tireless efforts, show of love, and generous spirit are truly exemplary and have ignited hope and fostered meaningful change for countless individuals and families. We are therefore honored to appreciate your generosity and encourage other individuals to learn from your example to make our society a better place, especially for deprived people,” the statement concluded.
