The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has assured the Ghanaian public that it will take action over the assaults recorded during the Ablekuma North constituency parliamentary election rerun.
A statement issued by the Command stated that it is taking steps to identify all those who participated in the acts of violence, intimidation and breach of peace.
The Police stated that all those involved in these unlawful acts would be arrested and prosecuted.
It appealed to persons with any information regarding the incidents to reach out to the Service through its emergency numbers to assist with the ongoing investigation.
