The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has cautioned the public against recruitment scams.
The Authority issued a statement indicating that it has come across the circulation of fraudulent messages targeting applicants in the ongoing recruitment of Police and Fire Assistants.
YEA said it does not charge any fees at any stage of its recruitment process.
It stated that any demand for payment, including the circulated GHC500, is a scam, false and should be ignored.
YEA added that it does not contact applicants through private numbers.
All official communications are made through its website www.yea.gov.gh and other verified agency channels.
It has therefore advised the public to stay alert and verify all information through official YEA sources only.
