The Students Loan Trust Fund has announced that it has reimbursed the academic fees of 20,682 additional first-year students in line with the ‘No Fees Stress’ policy.
According to the Fund, this brings the total number of students reimbursed for the 2024/2025 academic year to 60,915.
Dr. Saajida Shiraz, the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), disclosed this in a statement on her official Facebook page.
She also revealed that other applications are at various stages of the process, with some completed and pending validation, while others have been validated and are pending pre-audits.
She added that her organisation is working with students to address some recurring validation issues, including program mismatches, name mismatches, and ID number mismatches.
