The Accra Regional Police Command has revealed that it has arrested two individuals in connection with the violent incidents that were recorded during the parliamentary re-run in the Ablekuma North Constituency on Friday, July 11, 2025.
A statement issued on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, disclosed that the suspects were named as Musah Muntari, a 46-year-old station manager at STC, and Ali Saeed, also known as Mboma, a 43-year-old businessman.
Signed by Supt Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs for the Accra Region, the statement indicated that the two suspects are currently assisting police with investigations.
The statement assured the public that the police remain committed to bringing all those behind the violent incidents to book.
“We urge the public to continue cooperating with the police and to share credible information,” the statement read, adding that citizens can contact the police via emergency lines 18555 or 191.
