Two people died in Denase, Ashanti region, after gunshots were fired in the area.
The incident also left three other individuals seriously injured. According to residents, the incident happened on the evening of Thursday, July 24, 2025, with multiple gunshots causing widespread panic and chaos.
The injured were swiftly transported to Offinso Saint Patrick Hospital for medical treatment.
The chairman of the area’s committee, Mr. Alhassan, stated in an interview that the incident did not appear to be a random armed robbery but rather a targeted attack on specific individuals within a vehicle.
He further revealed that 14 spent bullet casings were recovered from the scene.
