The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially opened nominations for its 2026 presidential primaries.
According to the party, the process will officially close on August 28, 2025. Interested aspirants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of GHS100,000.
The details were disclosed by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. He confirmed that the NPP said the primaries will be held on January 31, 2026.
