President John Dramani Mahama has expressed gratitude to Stanbic Bank for its support towards the fund established to support children left behind by the eight helicopter victims.
The President noted that the bank has created an account and contributed GHC500,000 as its contribution.

He added that the government would also make a significant seed contribution, and a detailed framework for the fund would be operationalised and published within the next thirty days.
He also mentioned that the government would create channels for contributions from citizens, corporate organisations, professional associations, and international partners.
