Eva Adom-Amankwaa delivered a stellar performance at the 2025 Ga Homowo National Open Championship, hosted by the Greater Accra Table Tennis Association (GATTA). Building on her impressive showing in the recently concluded tournament, she clinched gold in the women’s category.
After taking a break from competitive play to pursue her master’s degree at the University of Ghana, Eva made a triumphant return to the sport, committing herself to intense training in preparation for the championship.
In a heartfelt interview, she dedicated her victory to her late teammate, Cecelia Frema, who passed away after a battle with illness. Eva expressed her wish for Cecelia’s soul to rest in peace and encouraged young athletes to train with discipline while prioritising their education.
Looking ahead, Eva Adom-Amankwaa remains focused on rigorous training as she prepares for upcoming local and international competitions.
