The Senior National team, the Black Stars of Ghana, drew with Chad in a 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier match on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
Ghana took the lead in the first half, but Chad equalized late in the game, resulting in the 1-1 draw.
The outcome of the game has therefore prevented Ghana from extending their lead at the top of Group I in the qualifiers.
Captain Jordan Ayew scored for Ghana in the 12th minute after a cross from Mohammed Kudus.
Chad scored in the closing minutes of the match to secure the draw.
