The GBC says the move would also ensure efficiency and competitiveness in Ghana’s rapidly evolving media landscape.

disclosed that its shareholder agreements have failed to yield the expected results.
To address this challenge, GBC says it will hand over its management to private control, while ownership of the facility remains entirely with the Corporation.
He disclosed this during an interaction with the Communication and Information Committee of Parliament during a working visit to the Corporation.
“We will own the facility one hundred percent, but we will allow for a private management team to take over, and we will make sure we keep our eyes on them. As for the private sector participation in shareholding, it hasn’t helped us,” he explained.
