The Gold Board has declared four individuals wanted for alleged gold smuggling activities.
The four persons include Muhammed Nadoli, an Indian national, and Mohammed Afsal Puthalan, also an Indian national.
They are wanted in connection with gold smuggling offenses and illegal gold trading activities, among others.

Nadoli is believed to be hiding in Dubai, whereas Puthalan is believed to be hiding in either Dubai, Côte d’Ivoire, or Togo.

The two others are Sadique Abubakari and Abdul Karim, who are both Ghanaians.

They are also wanted for the same offenses as the Indian nationals.
The two are believed to be hiding in Ashaiman, Amrahia, and Tamale.

Officials at the Gold Board have pledged a GHC 1 million reward for anyone with credible information that could lead to their arrest.
Speaking at a press conference in Accra on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, disclosed that these four are part of a group of seven individuals engaged in the illicit trade.
According to him, three of the suspects have already been arrested and are currently in the custody of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).
“We have an arrest warrant for all of them; they are wanted by the police and the GoldBod. If you have any information about them, you can report to the nearest police station or the GoldBod head office. We have a bounty of GHC1 million on each of them,” he said.
