The NAIMOS Task Force and the Blue Water Guards focused on raiding and dismantling structures erected along the riverbanks. Concurrently, the Western Regional Security operatives and the Western Naval Command personnel cleared illegal mining sites directly on the river itself.

This recent operation is part of a series of joint raids sponsored and led by the NAIMOS Task Force over the past three weeks. These efforts aim to permanently remove all forms of illegal mining from the river and its banks.

According to authorities, the well-coordinated operation resulted in the seizure of illegal mining equipment and the demolition of numerous makeshift structures.

The team successfully destroyed 20 makeshift structures, 10 dredging platforms, and 20 chanfangs.

Additionally, they seized four motorbikes, 15 pumping machines, two solar panels, a standing fan, a television, and three gas cylinders.
