The Bono Regional Minister, Honorable Joseph Addae Akwaboa, has announced the NDC government’s plans to implement a 24-hour economy market module for the Jinijini community, the district capital of the Berekum West District Assembly.

The move, he noted, is designed to facilitate effective business and commercial activities within the district. He made this disclosure during a familiarization tour to the Berekum West District.

The Minister expressed his gratitude to Nananom of Jinijini for their support in allocating a plot of land for the commencement of the project’s construction.

He disclosed that, once completed, the project will include a crèche to accommodate the children of traders, thereby enabling them to engage in their trading activities without disruption.

Additionally, the market will feature a pharmacy, police station, and fire station to provide security and healthcare services, ensuring uninterrupted 24-hour operations.

On his part, the Member of Parliament for the Berekum West District, Honorable Dickson Kyere Duah, stated that since assuming office eight months ago, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has initiated developmental projects across all 20 communities within the Berekum West District.

The projects include educational infrastructure, water facilities, road construction, and other initiatives aimed at fostering the development and progress of Berekum West.
