Ousmane Dembele, a French footballer, has received the esteemed Ballon d’Or award in Paris.
He was officially presented with the honor on Monday, September 22, 2025.
The ceremony took place at the Theatre du Chatelet.
Upon accepting the award, Dembele expressed his gratitude to his family for their sacrifices, which contributed to his achievement, and became visibly emotional.
Dembele’s exceptional performance during the 2024-25 season earned him widespread acclaim, as he played a key role in Paris St-Germain’s Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and Champions League treble victory, in addition to the team’s appearance in the Club World Cup final.
Throughout the season, he scored 35 goals and provided 14 assists across all competitions.
