Ghana and Antigua have signed a Visa Waiver agreement, Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has announced.
In a statement he shared on his official Facebook page, the Minister stated that this would be the 10th Visa Waiver agreement he has signed since assuming his role as Minister.
He extended gratitude to H.E. E.P. Chet Greene, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs, for what he described as his “remarkable contribution to this milestone.”
Mr. Ablakwa said the current administration remains committed to adding more value to the Ghanaian people.
“The Mahama Administration is deliberate about adding more value to the Ghanaian Passport, projecting our image in the comity of nations and enhancing the travel experience of Ghanaians as we boost trade, tourism, and in this particular instance connect us to our brothers and sisters in the Caribbean.”

A while ago, we signed our latest Visa Waiver Agreement between Ghana and Antigua and Barbuda in the margins of the UN General Assembly.
