Mr. Charles Bissue, Director of Operations for the Kennedy Agyapong campaign team, has described his principal as a multifaceted individual and the most suitable candidate to represent the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as its presidential nominee.
He asserted that successful political leadership requires personalities who are not only resourceful but also possess wisdom and a strong character to effectively mobilise people toward national development.
Mr. Bissue emphasised that Kennedy Agyapong is a man of significant capability, arguing that success in politics necessitates wisdom, resources, and strength—all attributes that Kennedy Agyapong demonstrates.
He stated that if granted the opportunity to serve as President, Mr. Agyapong would instill discipline in the executive branch and take decisive action against those who engage in misconduct or abuse their office.
Addressing concerns that Mr. Agyapong is excessively outspoken or aggressive, Charles Bissue countered that the politician possesses a “positive assertiveness” that fuels his aversion to corruption and mismanagement, and his unwillingness to tolerate wrongdoing.
He further elaborated, “It is the combination of all three that sets him apart. He has consistently supported the party. While some individuals may possess one or two of these attributes, Kennedy Agyapong wields all three. Some people claim Kennedy is aggressive, but I believe he is simply a man who speaks the truth. He detests misconduct, so when he identifies people acting inappropriately, he expresses his opinion directly. This directness should not be mistaken for aggression. He is a man with a positive assertiveness.”
In an interview on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Mr. Bissue concluded that Mr. Agyapong exemplifies resilience, dedication, and nationalism, possessing the requisite competence to transform the country.
