The Bono East Regional Police Command has arrested a man for allegedly operating an unlicensed clinic from his residence at Yeji Zongo.
The suspect, identified as Hanson Osei, was arrested on September 28, 2025.
He was apprehended after the police acted on intelligence and raided his converted chamber-and-hall apartment.
During the search, the police found used medical items, such as needles, malaria injection bottles, infusion sachets, and other clinical materials.
Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed that he had been running the facility for 11 years without authorisation from recognised medical institutions or licensing bodies.
Hanson Osei was arraigned before the Tuobodom District Court on September 30, 2025, and has been remanded to appear on October 6, 2025.
