The Planning Committee for the maiden Ecumenical Convention has extended an official invitation to Ghanaian business mogul and Group CEO of Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited, Mr. Samuel Amo Tobbin, to the event.
The Committee, led by its Chairman, Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has settled on the Presiding Elder of the Church Of Pentecost to be the Guest of Honour.
The event will be held from November 14 to 16 at the Central Cafeteria, University of Ghana, Legon, under the theme: “Uniting the Body of Christ for Greater Impact”.
The objectives of the CCG Ecumenical Convention are to foster unity and collaboration among Christian denominations in Ghana and the diaspora, empower LCC leadership to serve as agents of unity and peace, strengthen the capacity of Christian leaders to pool resources for effective ministry, harness technology and innovation to build an impactful Church, create a unified voice on national issues affecting governance, and recognize and award those who have excelled in promoting Christian unity and reconciliation.
Elder Tobbin has also been invited to be the Guest Speaker at the 96th Anniversary Breakfast Meeting of the CCG on October 30, 2025.
Information reaching Rainbowradioonline.com indicates that the respected Church Elder commended the Christian Council of Ghana for its role in promoting Christ and uniting the Body of Christ.
Mr. Anyidoho expressed his excitement after the meeting, saying he was delighted that it was fruitful.
He added that this was remarkable, especially when the purpose is to work together for the Kingdom of God and mother Ghana.
