Online registration for the 2025/2026 service year will open on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and close on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the National Service Authority (NSA) has announced.
The Authority explained that the date for the registration follows a directive from President John Dramani Mahama after a technical and forensic audit of the previous Central Service Management Platform (CSMP) found the system unsatisfactory.
Due to that, an instruction was given to the Authority to design and deploy a more robust digital platform to ensure transparency, security, and real-time verification.
A statement issued by the Authority indicated that all registrations completed in June 2025 are null and void.
In view of this new directive, all prospective personnel have been asked to re-register.
The Authority stated that the decision followed data integrity concerns, including discrepancies in ages detected in the earlier process.
It added that all legitimate registrants from the June exercise would receive refunds of their service fees.
“All previous registrations from June 2025 have been declared null and void. Every prospective service person must re-register on the new platform,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the NSA says it is working in collaboration with with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department to strengthen financial oversight and would also conduct periodic efficiency checks.
The NSA added that all national service personnel are expected to report to their assigned service stations on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
The service year officially begins on Monday, November 3, 2025, the statement concluded.
