The Ghana Education Service says it has received financial clearance for the payment of 6,249 teachers recruited in 2024.
A statement issued and signed by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, stated that the approval granted allows the Ghana Education Service to complete all necessary processes to ensure the staff receive their salaries.
The statement indicated that although the clearance granted expires on December 31, 2025, GES will ensure that all staff are placed on the mechanised payroll in time for the November 2025 payments.
It expressed gratitude to all staff for their dedication and remains committed to facilitating timely and accurate salary payments.
