The MP for Ablekuma West, Hon. Rev. Dr Kweku Addo, has, in collaboration with the Council for Scientific Research, sponsored 20 constituents to undergo a hands-on practical cybersecurity training programme aimed at enhancing digital security awareness and equipping participants with essential skills for future opportunities in the technology sector.

The introductory training focused on digital protection and cybercrime prevention strategies, providing participants with the foundational knowledge needed to safeguard personal and organisational data in an increasingly digital world.

A total of nineteen young men and one lady successfully completed the training and were presented with certificates of participation to acknowledge their accomplishment.

Participants expressed their gratitude to the MP for the opportunity, describing the training as insightful and transformative. They lauded Hon. Rev. Dr Addo’s dedication to youth empowerment and technological advancement within the constituency.

In his remarks, Hon. Rev. Dr Kweku Addo urged the youth to remain engaged and take advantage of similar initiatives that aim to prepare them for future employment and entrepreneurship prospects in the digital space.

“There are more opportunities ahead for the betterment of all constituents. My commitment is to empower our youth with the right knowledge and tools to help them succeed in this digital age,” he stated.

The cybersecurity training forms part of the MP’s broader Youth Empowerment Initiative, which seeks to promote education, skills development, and innovation among young people across the Ablekuma West Constituency.
