Koku Anyidoho Leads CCG Ecumenical Convention Committee To Visit President Of Ghana Baptist Convention

The Planning Committee of the maided edition of the Ecumenical Convention of the Christian Council of Ghana (CCG), has paid a courtesy call on the President of the Ghana Baptist Convention.

Led by its Chairman, Mr. Koku Anyidoho, the Committee visited the Ablenkpe Headquarters of the Ghana Baptist Convention to brief its President, Reverend Enoch Thompson on the work in progress vis-a-vis CCG’s upcoming 96th anniversary as well as the Ecumenical Convention.

CCG will be 96 on, October 30, 2025, and there will be a Breakfast Meeting at the Ridge Church to mark the occasion which has, Mr. Samuel Ammo Tobin, Group CEO of Tobinco Pharmaceuticals as the Guest Speaker.

Reverend Enoch Thompson, who is also the Vice Chairman of the CCG, congratulated the Committee for its commitment and dedication to promoting the Prophetic Mandate of CCG in the affairs of Mother Ghana.

“We are grateful to God for your dedication and commitment and continue to pray for God to sustain you with His divine strength to see you through the programmes successfully” Reverend Thompson said.

On his part, Chairman of the Committee, Koku Anyidoho said “we thank God for the opportunity to serve and we pray for the Good Lord Himself to provide us with the resources to support both programmes successfully”.

“God Himself who is the Father of all, will certainly provide exceedingly and abundantly above what we ask and think” Reverend Enoch Thompson added.

Other members of the Planning Committee who were part of the meeting include, Rev Jehoaida Amuzu, Director of Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations of CCG, Rev. Mark Quaye, Rev Tsikata, and Dr. Kutsienyo, Director of Finance of CCG.

The Ecumenical Convention is slated for 14-16 November, 2025, at the Central Cafeteria, University of Ghana, Legon.
