Sixty-three (63) Members of Parliament from the New Patriotic Party minority side have publicly declared their support for the former vice president in the upcoming presidential primary.
The MPs from various constituencies expressed confidence in Dr Bawumia’s leadership and his commitment to Ghana’s development.
Addressing journalists on Thursday, October 23, 2025, Member of Parliament for Mampong, Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong, stated that they declared their support for the former Vice President because he was the best to represent the NPP in 2028.
“We have seen his work, his discipline, his resilience and his readiness to serve,” he said.
He described him as someone who embodies the next chapter of the New Patriotic Party’s vision—a future built on competence, innovation, unity and hope.
