The Eternal Life Church, Favour Centre, was officially inaugurated on Sunday, November 2, 2025. The ceremony took place at the Church Premises, situated near the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) and opposite the Prince of Peace Academy.

The inauguration service was led by Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, who dedicated the Church and delivered the sermon titled “Values of Christianity in Society.”

The Archbishop, founder of Perez Chapel, asserted that Christianity cultivates learning and champions development. He noted that principles of governance, such as freedom of speech, which later became the rule of law, emerged from the pulpit.

The respected cleric further stated that Christianity educates, enlightens the heart, provides principles for correction, addresses corruption, restrains evil, and renews nations.

”Christianity doesn’t only preach salvation; it practices compassion,” Archbishop Agyinasare declared. “The world expects Christians to live like Christ; it is the solution and not the problem of the world… If we raise godly men, we will raise ethical leaders.”

He emphasissed that Christianity is more than a religion; it is a transforming force capable of changing societies and fostering their development. He pointed out that some of the world’s greatest universities, especially the Ivy League institutions, began as Christian organizations, underscoring Christianity’s role in educating leaders.

Furthermore, he credited Christianity with playing a major role in eradicating cultural practices that undermined the rights and liberties of people. He concluded by reiterating: “Christianity is not the problem of the world but the solution.”

Kennedy Agyapong Calls for Investment and Collaboration

Special Guest of Honour, Kennedy Agyapong, former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, addressed the gathering with a focus on national progress.

He called on the Church to invest in industry to create jobs for its members, lamenting that unemployment remains a major threat to development.

Mr. Agyapong directly appealed to the spiritual leaders: “Use your platforms and the respect that you’ve earned to create jobs… The biggest challenge we are facing as a country is unemployment. Therefore, I entreat all the churches to invest in industries to create jobs for the people, especially your church members.

He also stressed the need for a strong collaboration between the Church and politicians to drive national progress, declaring: “The Church and politicians must collaborate in building this country.” Additionally, he asserted that the Church has a moral obligation to boldly guide its members toward electing a competent President of the Republic.

Eternal Life Ministry’s Vision: Growth, Mentorship, and Action

The Founder and General Overseer of the Eternal Life Ministry stated that the powerful messages delivered by the two special guests reflect his core values and vision, expressing that their alignment was “amazing” and “not a coincidence.”

He outlined the Church’s commitment to serve not only as a place for spiritual growth but also to provide platforms that encourage, motivate, and educate people on ethical work values, responsible citizenship, and the need to shun evil.

“My vision is to organize seminars for artisans, invite professionals to provide the training for them to have their minds transformed,” he said. “While I provide the spiritual guidance, these professionals would be available to guide these professionals to be expert at their fields and build wealth. We will do that through orientation. We will also let those who are unemployed know that without taking that bold step, God will not come from heaven to give them jobs.”

Focus on Divine Guidance and Community Impact

Mr. Emmanuel Okai Mintah, Board Chairman of the National Service Authority (NSA), delivered a brief speech, focusing on Psalm 127:1 and highlighting the necessity of divine guidance, as “unless the Lord builds the house, those who labour, labour in vain.”

He expressed optimism that the Church, through God’s guidance, will be a proof of the Lord as the builder, ensuring it remains firm and has a lasting impact on the community.

”But today’s celebration is about more than opening a new building. It’s about opening new doors—doors of faith, hope, and opportunity for the people, especially for the youth of the community,” he said.

Mr. Mintah, speaking as a youth leader, emphasized that faith and service must work hand in hand, noting that the Church builds character while the government builds systems.

He concluded that the character built by the Church is what sustains leadership, reinforcing the need for continuous collaboration.
