Captain Paul Forjoe, an expert in aircraft investigations, has revealed findings regarding the helicopter crash that occurred on August 6, 2025.
He stated that the crew involved had flown three consecutive flights immediately prior to the accident. Presenting the outcome of the report on November 11, 2025, he explained that, “The last three flights before the accident were conducted by the same crew.”

Captain Forjoe confirmed that the investigative team thoroughly checked the crew’s qualifications, flight logs, medical history, and psychological state.
He noted that per standard practice, the crew was expected to have a six-hour rest before embarking on another flight. Crucially, he added that the crew had had a 24-hour rest ahead of the August 6 crash, far exceeding the standard hours of rest required.
Captain Paul Forjoe assured Ghanaians that the investigations into the helicopter crash were conducted in strict accordance with the procedures of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and internal protocols.
