The Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North, Kwamena Minta Nyarku, has reaffirmed his commitment to creating employment opportunities for young people in his constituency.
Speaking to Rainbow Radio, Dr. Minta Nyarku emphasized that addressing unemployment is a top priority, as it remains a significant national challenge.
He revealed that his office has been providing vocational training in areas such as sewing, carpentry, and construction, aiming to equip residents with employable skills. Additionally, his office has offered financial support and scholarships to individuals seeking to further their education.
Dr. Minta Nyarku also addressed the water crisis in Cape Coast, which has been exacerbated by galamsey activities, noting that the situation has improved slightly.
He noted that while Ghana Water Limited works to resolve its operational issues, he has constructed boreholes in affected communities to provide temporary relief.
The MP’s efforts aim to alleviate the financial burdens on residents and contribute to the overall development of Cape Coast North.
