The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited has announced that it will intensify its revenue mobilisation exercise throughout December, including the Christmas holidays.
It has therefore asked customers and the general public to take note.
A statement issued by the company explained that the exercise aims to ensure all arrears in the system are cleared by the end of the year, 31st December 2025.
“Thus, the company will focus on all categories of customers in arrears. Customers who owe ECG are advised to use their regular channels, including the ECG Mobile App, to pay their bills and avoid disconnection, enabling them to enjoy the Christmas festivities.”
The ECG said revenue mobilisation teams will be identified by their staff identity cards and advised the public to inspect their ID cards before allowing them onto their premises to avoid imposters.
