Samson Lardi Anyenini, host of Newsfile on Joy News, has corroborated reports of an assassination attempt on Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng.
In a statement on Facebook, the private legal practitioner disclosed that the SP not only survived the assassination attempt but was also a victim of poisoning.
According to Anyenini, certain high-ranking security officials are privy to the details of the incident. He further confirmed the alleged arrest and assault of Sammy Darko, Director of Strategy at the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
The incident reportedly occurred in 2022, a fact that has been brought to light following widespread skepticism surrounding the attempts on the SP’s life and the assault on Darko.
