A bee attack was reported in the Abotanso elemental area of Afram Plains North, affecting a community of 550 residents.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred around 5:00 PM, with the bees attacking indiscriminately, resulting in several injuries.
Seven individuals were admitted to the Abotanso community clinic, with two of them, both 65 years old, paralysed.
The seven individuals were later referred to Donkorkrom Presbyterian Hospital for further treatment, as reported by Osofoba Enoch on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM.
The traditional leaders of the community have confirmed that they are investigating the incident, seeking guidance from their gods to determine the cause.
The area chief was among those affected by the bee attack.
