The Member of Parliament for the Builsa South Constituency, Dr. Clement Apaak, has officially activated the 2025 Builsa South Students Support Programme, aimed at providing relief and assistance to students pursuing tertiary education.
The initiative, which has become a hallmark of Dr. Apaak’s commitment to human capital development, aims to provide yearly financial relief to tertiary students from the constituency.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the MP’s office invited eligible students to submit their applications for consideration. The support is specifically designed to cushion the cost of education for students enrolled in various accredited institutions across the country.
According to the statement, applications are open from 15th December to 30th December 2025 and must be submitted to the Selection Committee in the Builsa South Constituency. The MP emphasized that no applications will be accepted after 30th December 2025.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all five criteria to qualify for consideration:
- Be an indigene of the Builsa South Constituency
- Be enrolled in any tertiary institution accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC)
- Attach a certified copy of a valid national identification card
- Provide an official admission letter from their institution
- Submit a copy of a valid student identification card.
Priority Categories
The selection committee will give special consideration to three demographic groups: brilliant but financially disadvantaged students, students living with disabilities, and the girl-child.
