Armed men allegedly attacked a bus traveling from Bolgatanga to Kumasi, resulting in two individuals being shot.
The incident took place near Walewale township on Tuesday, December 16, 2024.
According to emerging details, the bus, operated by Great Imperial Express with registration number GY 3199-21, is believed to have been targeted due to prevailing tensions in the area.
The attack left the bus driver and a passenger critically injured, and they were rushed to Walewale Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
The police have initiated an investigation into the incident, aiming to identify those responsible.
