The Member of Parliament for Walewale Constituency, Hon Dr Tiah Abdul-Kabiru Mahama, has presented his stewardship report for 2025 at the 3rd Ordinary Meeting of the West Mamprusi Municipal Assembly.
Speaking to reporters, Hon Mahama highlighted key achievements in 2025, including support to BECE candidates, tertiary students via MP’s Scholarship Program benefiting146 students, and support to 100 farmers via the provision of irrigation machines for dry season farming.
He also mentioned the establishment of a mini agricultural mechanization center, input credit supports to over 50 farmers covering several hectares of farmland. He also revealed the establishment of a mini agricultural mechanization center to address the challenge of access to tractor services.
The establishment of a Reproductive and Child Health Center at Janga by the renovation of the abandoned health center, and a modern recording studio for youth creativity.

The MP also outlined plans for 2026, which include the construction of mechanized boreholes in several communities including Vuga, Yakura, Naabofong, Moshiefong and others. Hon Kabiru Mahama also promised the construction of No.2 3-unit classroom blocks, and 2 3-CHIPS compounds in several communities.
Hon Mahama used the occasion to inform Assembly Members about planned decentralization of parliament and proposed constitutional amendments.
